We just returned inside from a lovely little impromptu barbeque. Chicken on the grill, salad (all made from ingredients purchased today at the nearby organic farm on my way home from work), hopeful cats watching... :) (We're wimps. They had chicken.) The temperature finally cooling down enough to where it's actually comfortable to sit outside and eat. Very relaxing. Picked a couple more strawberries -- oh, so sweet. And we have more of the raspberries from the organic farm. Need I remind you that they won the Soil Association's award for best organic fruit last year? They are sooo good.

But tomorrow things change. I'm driving up to Southend-on-Sea tomorrow without luis_mw. He will have to work at Docklands in London on Sunday and he's 'on call' for Saturday, so I'm on my own. Well, not really. I'm driving up that way to pick up two buddies in the SCA; we're checking out a scout camp nearby that might work for a kingdom event. I have us tentatively pencilled in, but it will depend on if the site works. I may stay up there to have dinner with them, then embark on the M25 again. Hmm. Must decide if, when I join the M25 from the M3, if it's better to go clockwise or counter clockwise. Oh, the decisions. ;)

So, I guess I'll get up at a decent hour, pick up the new Harry Potter book, clean out the car (so I can fit other people in it) and drive... Sunday will be for marking papers, reading, baking cookies to take to school, marking more papers, etc.
