I'm an American ex-pat living and working permanently in the UK. Yes, I have dual citizenship. I moved here because I'm married to a British man; we reside in the New Forest with our cat. (Sadly, due to felines ageing faster than humans, we're down to one cat.) I've been teaching English for 30 years now -- in two countries. My politics are about as far to the left as they can go. Singer-songwriters and folk music are my main forte (I write reviews of CDs and gigs), and I've been working with the SCA, an international mediaeval/renaissance re-creation group, for 34 years. The majority of my entries are friends only. If you add me, I may add you. :) (Please note, however, that I'm of an age where I really don't want to have to deal with right-wing political beliefs except for when I'm fighting them in the real world. Be warned that my views are quite socialist and I put my money where my mouth is.)
